Cinquain Poetry

A cinquain is a five-line poem. The traditional cinquain follows a syllable count, with lines of 2 syllables, 4 syllables, 6 syllables, 8syllables, and 2 syllables. A simpler version follows the "word" pattern give below.

Write a one-word subject. Use two adjective to discribe it. Write three very discriptive action word. Make a short statement about the subject. End with a synonym filled with imagination.

hot, sunny
playing, tanning, sweating
Is very fun

School
cool, friends
learning, listening, reading
school makes you smart
