"I, Hali Artman, is ruined. I cant write! I'm doomed. My eyes turned sad. My mom was always telling me that I should take a daily visit to Miss Write's house. The truth is, I'm afraid of Miss Write. I've always pictured her as a mean, old hag, lived in a witch's house, ate kids for dinner, was bitter, ugly, and had 3 fingers...altogether. I kept on thinking this until my birthday came around. So, on my birthday, my mom blindfolded me and took me a surprise place. When we arrived, my mom took off my blind fold, and left me staring at a little, pink, house surrounded by trees. "Where are we?" I asked. "Miss write's house." my mom replied. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed. I dove for the car, but my mom stopped me. A few seconds later, a middle-aged woman with brownish hair approached me. 'Who are you?" I asked. " I am Miss Write." she said with a sly smile. "And you must be ah, Hali Artman?" She extended BOTH of her hands. I shook them both. I could've sworn that 7 out of 10 fingers felt like rubber. "Well, goodbye sweetie! See you in a few hours!" my mom said. With that, she sped off. Miss Write grabbed my hand and dragged me toward her house.
Once inside, she slammed the door behind me and then locked it. Then, she did something that nearly sent my jaw to the floor. Miss Write ripped off her clothes revealing a witch's dress, ripped off her face ( Which was really a mask) showing, an aged, ugly, face, and then pulling off her wig which showed grayish-gray hair. "well, that was disturbing!" I thought. But then irrupting my thoughts, she ripped off her rubber fingers. " Knew it." I thought, coldy. She then grabbed my wrists, tied them together, opened a secret compartment, shoved me inside, then locked it. I could hear her walk away. "Now," I heard her say. "where's my recipe for kid soup?" I gulped.
Then, I had the most perfect plan. I reached into my pocket, and pulled out my lucky arrow head. It cut the rope with no problem. I rested one hand on the floor. I felt something under my hand. It was a key! Carefully, I picked up the key, and unlocked the door. I made my way to an open window. I was just about to make my escape when Miss Write saw me. "Get back here!" she shouted. Just as she reached the window, I was half-way out. She tried to grab me, but she only left an ugly gash on the back of my leg. So I left her there shouting curses at. . I clapped. "Thank you Angelina." my mom said as she took a bow. "Where'd you get your inspiration?" I asked. with curiosity. She just smiled. My mom gave me a good night kiss, and walked out the door. I could've sworn that I saw a gash on the back of her leg. It keeps me wondering...
