The Winter Break
Our winter break is about 2 or 3 weeks long. We got off the 18th of December 2007. But before we got out, we had a party. We got a book so we can read over the break, and also got lots, and lots of candy, and sweets. There were 2 holidays in our winter break; Christmas and New Years. I had a great Christmas. I got lots of of presents from my family. 9 days after Christmas was New Years Eve. I went with older sister to go to a party. Then at 11:59, we started to count down until 12 o'clock. Everybody said "HAPPY NEW YEAR''. As the time passed, we started doing karaoke while me and my friends played Guitar Hero3 all night long. We left the party about 4 O'clock, and we drove home and crashed out!

Hello I am a teacher from Australia and enjoyed reading your blog. We have a 5 week summer holiday break now and on New Years Eve the temperature got to 43 degrees. It was very hot. Are you back at school now?
Wish I was playing Guitar Hero on New Years eve! I had to spend the night with my in-laws :P.
It is awesome how you got a comment by someone in Australia! I liked your story too! I have only played guitar hero once which I want to play again.
I have never played Guitar Hero but hear it's a blast. I watched the ball drop and went to bed at 12:15. Nice and quiet. Happy New Year!
i love having a party with my friends on new years at my last party we woke every body up becuase we were so loud PEACE!!!!
